In Moto2 The Thai Idemitsu Honda Team Asia rider Somkiat Chantra recovered from 11th position to finish third in the French GP. His team-mate Ai Ogura also recovered from a difficult weekend to finish in a solid fifth.
In Moto3, Mario Aji was penalized for a bad grid position because his pace was the same as the riders in the points. Taiyo Furusato lost contact with the group in the first laps as he was too cautious in the tricky track conditions.
Honda and Mivv work together to improve the strenght of their very young riders.

MOTO3: MARIO SURYO AJI #64
Grid P28 – Race P22

I did a good start before the red flag; when the race stopped, I was 14th. At the restart, I was optimistic because I saw that I could stay with the top guys. But I found one rider who disturbed me, and I lost contact with the front group. The positive is that our pace was like the top. But again, I’ve been penalized by my position on the grid. I need to learn how to manage to start more in front of the grid. I’m happy about the team performance because my bike was better than Jerez. I’m excited to arrive in Mugello.

MOTO3: TAIYO FURUSATO #72
Grid P26 – Race P25

In the first race, it started to fall drops of rain. Many riders crashed, and Race Direction decided to stop the race. At the restart, I was riding very cautiously, maybe too much. The result is not what I expected. Finally, I did my best lap at the last lap. That means I need more experience to manage this type of situation.

Weather conditions have complicated a lot the race here in Le Mans. A red flag because of the rain, a restart to a shorted race. All that affected the rider’s mind; that was the first time they found this situation. But anyway, what I’ve seen is our riders are progressing. That’s another experience for them. Now we go to Mugello, a circuit that both know; this fact could help them.

MIVV GP PRO TITANIUM

GP PRO is the technological and stylistic evolution of the GP exhaust.

Technical craftsmanship, extreme precision on couplings and attractive sound are the main features of this compact muffler with a new essential design. The exhaust outlet pipe is completed, as is often seen on the track, by a removable protective grille that hides the dB-killer.

GP PRO is ideal for sports bikes, but nothing prevents you from installing it on other high-performance motorcycles like the latest super-naked bikes. This muffler sports the characteristic Mivv logo created by laser technology.
It’s made with a titanium central body that allows a 45% weight reduction when compared to the steel version.
