In an intelligent race, the Indonesian rider Mario Suryo Aji has been navigating in the points zone, being patient and controlling the rivals to finish 13th. Taiyo Furusato has been affected by a crash at the start, losing some crucial seconds and contact with the top group. Despite that, he has been fast and constant, finishing the ItalianGP on the 18th.

A confusing weekend. Friday and Saturday, I didn’t find a consistent rhythm. We haven’t made any significant changes on the bike, and I just changed my mind to keep calm on Sunday. Finally, we achieved our target, to take points and make the team happy. This result is good for the team, and I’m optimistic about next weekend in Barcelona, one of my favorite tracks.

I’m happy about my race because I was close to my best lap every lap. At the start of the race, a rider in front of me had a technical problem, stopping in the middle of the straight. To avoid colliding, I lost some meters and contact with the front group. It’s a race, but we don’t know what could happen if I could have done the race with them. The positive point is that I’ve done many laps with experimented riders like Masiá and Toba, and I’ve seen many positive and negative things, improving from them.

A pretty long race for us! Mario has been fighting to score points; finally, he finished 13th, and Taiyo had bad luck at the start. But he keeps racing until the end, finishing 18th with a broken bike. An impressive race for both riders. We could see the evolution, and we’re happy about that. Next weekend we are going to Barcelona, where we’ve been testing. We are very much looking for ahead next week.
